At a time when our recent instances involving NFL players have focused a light on the issue of domestic violence resulting in athletes losing their careers, it is simple unforgivable that a player such as Hope Solo, who is facing trial for domestic violence in January, remains on the US Women's Soccer team. Losing your job while working for a private corporation is one thing, but being allowed to continue representing the values of the country while you have violated those basic values is not equitable.
