Ban all Back Yard Breeders, Puppy Mills, and Kittty Mills.

Puppy mills are in business to make money. Breeders cram as many dogs and puppies into as few crates as possible, leading to unsanitary living conditions and diseases such as skin infections, intestinal and external parasites, and upper respiratory disease . Dogs often stand and lie in their own urine and feces. Puppy mills, brokers and pet stores ensure maximum profits by not spending money for proper food, housing or veterinary care. Female dogs are bred twice a year and are usually destroyed when they are no longer able to breed. Puppy mills often leave deformed, sick and weak puppies to die in their cages. Many die on their way to pet stores due to stress and overcrowding in crates. Those that survive are often sick as well and have chronic health problems. This must be stopped!
