We propose outlawing all campaign contributions by corporations and individuals and putting in place taxpayer-funded elections. This would stop the mandatory panhandling required by candidates and incumbents to fund their campaigns, and leave those in elected office free to represent their constituencies without the unfair financial influence of special interests.
