The Administration and DEA believe cannabis to contain no medicinal benefit, yet allow pharmaceutical companies to produce derivatives of cannabinoids. If cannabis has no medical benefit (according to the Federal government), then logically one could assume that these drugs also have no medically viable use in the United States.
Otherwise, end the hypocrisy and regulate cannabis in a way similar to alcohol and tobacco.
