Christmas is a holiday celebrating Christianity's belief in the birth of Christ. For those that do not celebrate Christmas, or whose holidays encourage other beliefs, the Christmas season is a time for families and friends to gather and enjoy each others company.
Americans are tired of Christmas and the Christmas season being used to sell. Christmas has turned from a celebration of family and faith, to corporations shoving everything from children's toys to cars down the throats of America.
It's time we take the season back, and celebrate things worth celebrating. Plus, Thanksgiving deserves a fighting chance, at least, right?
