Ban all corporate lobbying. Only NGO's and accredited Universities should be allowed to lobby on behalf of the public.

Since our government has been completely undermined by corporate interests (via their lobbyists), I propose that all corporate lobbying be permanently banned. Only NGO's tied to humanitarian or environmental causes and accredited Universities should be allowed to lobby congress on behalf of the public interest. Research scientists, economists and other experts in various fields should be the only people allowed to lobby congress when it comes to making critical policy decisions that may benefit or harm the general public. All lobbyists and special interest groups who stand to profit by manipulating legislation specific to their interests should be barred from further intrusion upon our political process. All lobbying communications should be PUBLIC record and accessible for public scrutiny
