Video and/or audio advertisements that play automatically (otherwise known as autoplay ads) on many websites are not only a general nuisance, but can often be disruptive to one's self and others . These advertisements can occasionally lead to a computer's system or browser becoming unstable and locking up, causing the unsuspecting user to lose any unsaved data they had been working on.
For these reasons, we the people petition President Obama to impose a ban on all autoplay ads, forcing websites to remove any video and/or audio advertisements that can initiate without the direct and/or compliant input from the user's end.
