As a child who struggled with ADHD, I always found it difficult to focus in class. I also was put in more advanced classes than other kids my age, because I was more advanced then some of them academically. When I was in fourth grade, I was in sixth grade mathematics, and found it extremely stressful. I also had a hobby outside of school, which I still have today, that is becoming my profession. I knew I wanted to do this professionally since I was young. I was always doing this when I wasn't in school, so I was very far behind in my homework, and it made me very very stressed. I attempted suicide twice. It also made my teachers unhappy because they didn't understand the dedication my hobby required, so I failed many classes. Students should not be forced to experience this kind of stress.
