We petition this administration to do everything possible to protect its citizens from Ebola. The first line of defense should be preventing anyone who may have been exposed to this deadly virus in the pandemic epicenter of West Africa from entering the United States. People often do not show symptoms until several days after exposure to the virus, which is why current airport temperature screenings of passengers is completely insufficient in identifying Ebola. With no cure or vaccine currently available, Ebola is deadly, and our government should be doing EVERYTHING in its power to protect Americans, starting with banning incoming flights from West Africa.
