In the wake of the Connecticut Elementary school shooting, we petition the Obama administration to ban all live ammunition to ordinary citizens to prevent the further destruction of our nation. Live ammunition is not necessary for self defense as more devices such as rubber bullets, electric Tazers, stun guns and tranquilizer bullets are opened up to the general public. Already, many police officers have abolished the use of firearms for less lethal choices such as Tazers. Unfortunately, some Americans think that we would degrade into Mexico or psychopaths would start using knives, bows, etc. In response, America is not as violent as Mexico, plagued with drug woes and guns are the most lethal. Finally, we would like these laws to be strictly enforced.
