Ban all military style firearms.

We the signers of this petition call on President Barack Obama to issue an Executive Order to effectively and permanently ban all military style firearms. These firearms serve no purpose in civilian society, and as the recent shootings have shown all they're designed for is to kill. We also ask that included inside the Executive Order that all who wish to purchase firearms go through extensive Federal background checks. We also ask that all Psychiatrists and Psychologists who have patients that fit certain profiles report them to be included into Federal Psychological registries that will deny them from ever purchasing firearms anywhere within the United States.
