We petition the government to prohibit the advertisement of all prescription drugs on television media. We the people, are sick and tired of being bombarded with new drugs and their list of side effects which are usually more severe than the ailment itself. A medicine should be able to stand on its own merits without the self endorsement of the manufacturer or distributor. With today's challenges in health care, the last thing the American people want to see on their television is yet another endorsement for a drug that has more potentially dangerous side effects than the illness it is attempting to treat.
