Like most Americans, my healthcare costs are sky-rocketing while coverage is shrinking. I am frustrated with how much money is spent on prescription drug advertising. Please help lower the costs of healthcare by passing a law to ban all advertising of prescription drugs on television and radio - similar to the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act's restrictions on cigarette advertising. Please also enact a new law prohibiting drug companies from sponsoring sports, music, and other cultural events similar to the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. When I want medical advice, I see my docotr, not my television.
