ban all private funding of campaigns. All National elections shall be public funded.

The need to raise astronomical amounts of money to campaign for all national offices has made the executive, and legislative branches completely beholden to fundraisers and donors. The work of the people is no longer getting done, and will not be a priority as long as this continues. publicly funded elections creates a level playing field, that will leave the merits of the candidate as the deciding factor. We the people deserve a government that prioritizes the people, A democracy that serves the whole population, not just the Moneyed elite. There are many things wrong in this country, but almost all of them come down to the cost of getting elected. Of all this administration could do, giving us back a democracy would be the most impactful. No more buying elections, they need to be earned
