Non-commercial, ariel fireworks displays should be illegal. Similar to "The Purge," permitting large home use of these fireworks, is a green light to burn down your neighbors house and/or other property without consequences.
Home use of these explosives is no longer about celebrating independence, as proven by the fact that people light off these explosives for days surrounding July 4th.
Every year, the news stories of house fires and wild fires caused by fireworks across this country are numerous. We all read the stories, but is there any consideration given to the fact that each one of those stories have true victims behind them.
It is time to STOP the legal selling of uncontrollable explosives to amateurs.
