I petition that all automobiles are banned from use in all applications other than military use. Automobiles are considered deadly weapons and therefore should not be attainable by the general public.

The financial cost of these crashes is more than 230 Billion dollars. 2.9 million people were injured and 42,636 people killed.
About 115 people die every day in vehicle crashes in the United States -- one death every 13 minutes.
Accidents are a leading cause of all deaths in the United States. This is unacceptable, the ONLY logical explanation would be to ban use of automobiles.
