Ban all X-ACTO Knives from the United States

In light of the recent attempts to ban or restrict our right to own firearms as law abiding citizens of the United States of America because they were used by a few certain individuals to inflict harm to others. I would like to Petition Mr. OBAMA and the other members of the government to ban or enforce strict background checks on purchase of X-acto knives(box cutters). My justification for these drastic measures is due to the recent attack at a College in Texas where an individual attacked and injured 14 students. This was a act of brutality and I cannot stand by and allow such dangerous weapons to be on the streets and in the hands of such dangerous people. So lets get this petition all the way to the top and show the government how silly it is to ban weapons for acts of a few.
