Ban and make the sale of tobacco and cigarettes illegal.

This petition is to make the sales and purchases of cigarettes and tobacco illegal. Tobacco and cigarettes are known to cause serious health effects and death. When the public is in danger, the government has the duty to intervene. Instead the United States of America government continues to allow the sales of these cancerous products. Thousands of people have died as a result of cigarettes. A warning label is not enough to prevent people from smoking. Yes, persons have the right to smoke, but when they are endangering their life and bystanders with second hand smoke. That right is no longer a right, and the government undoubtedly should take action.
