Denmark (1999) banned, getting 75% drop drug-res meat bacteria.
US Acad Sciences Inst Medicine: "specter of untreatable infections... regression to pre-antibiotic era... looms just around the corner."
Diptheria, TB, smallpox, measles, anthrax, cholera, HIV, toxic E.Coli began in animals.
A Dutch farmer was infected by his chickens' resistant bug.
Penicillin finder Fleming (1920s) saw bacteria get resistant.
Now: 5-drug-resistant DT104 salmonella superbug, TB, MRSA.
