5 million dogs and cats will be killed at animal shelters this year. Many of the shelters that kill these animals will use controversial methods of HEART-STICKING, GAS CHAMBERS, ELECTROCUTION, DROWNING, & DECOMPRESSION CHAMBERS.
All of these methods are considered 'extremely' inhumane & cruel, not to mention lengthy. The animals can suffer, terribly, for long periods of time, before death occurs. Millions of them will cry & fight each other. They will feel EXTREME PAIN, prior to succumbing to their fates.
Animal lovers, all over the country, want these methods of euthanization, completely ELIMINATED, and more humane methods invoked.
Obviously, a no kill nation is much better! It is possible to achieve this, IF we change the laws that make animals throw away garbage.
