US Citizens from other countries such as India & Bangladesh are arranging marriages for their children either here or overseas. The children don't even have freedom to choose. Quite a few times, the married couple only meet each other within a few weeks before the wedding. Something needs to be done. One dad told me regarding his daughter marrying outside the culture, "He is not our culture & does not speak our language so he is not the right guy for her. I choose who she marries & don't care if she loved him." All of deserve freedom in everything including choosing our life partners. Time to ban arranged marriages!
