BAN Assault; Automatic Weapons & Concealed Hand Guns. Allow only hunting shotguns for purchase by general population

Petitioning government to work with all the parties toward amending country's obsolete gun laws so that they can reflect the time we live in.
2nd amendment says:
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed"
2nd amendment was necessary for the time period it was created considering that there was no strong government to protect the country, or strong law inforcement to protect the citizens.
Times have changed and the majority of the populations is not a "regulated militia" anymore.
I am petitioning to BAN automatic, assault, and all hand guns from sale to civilian populations. The only guns allowed should be only hunting shotguns which can be used inside the home for protection.
