BAN ASSAULT FAST FOODS

Created by C.J. on December 26, 2012

According to the statistics shown in the 'Centers for Disease Control and Prevention' 4 of the leading causes of death in our country in 2009 were Heart disease: 599,413 people, Cancer: 567,628, Stroke: 128,842, and Diabetes: 68,705 . While none of these causes of death are given the same attention as gun related deaths (8,775 firearm homicides in 2010 as reported by the FBI), I believe it is in the best interest of preserving the lives of all American citizens to address the issues at their source, the most prevalent one in the U.S. is the consumption of assault fast foods. It has been shown that there is a direct correlation between obesity (over 33% of Americans are obese), fast food, and these causes of death. We need a plan to save more than 8,775 people. Ban Assault Fast Foods!
