I am petitioning to ban the sale and possession of assault rifles and extended firearm magazines. These types of weapons have been associated for many deaths in this country. Just a couple examples are the Aurora shooting and Sandy Hook shooting. Both of these events where made possible by an assault riffle, the AR-15. The use of extended magazines makes the situation even worse by increasing the ammunition of the firearm. This administration needs to take action, and ban these deadly killing machines.
