Ban Assault Rifles: Offer a 90-day amnesty period to surrender AR's to selected authorities. For those that rre legally registered, offer a tax credit equivalent to 2X the market value of the weapon. Society is worth the added incentive. For those that do not surrender their AR's, they will be sublect to mandatory jail time as follows: 3 years per weapon and one month for every bullet in their possession when caught. The weapons surrendered will be melted and fabricated into playground materials such as swings, monkey bars, bicycles, etc.
