Automatic assault weapons cause deadly and permanent damage in seconds and have the power to kill hundreds of people in a minute. There's no reason any citizen aside from thoroughly trained and intensively mentally-tested individuals should have them. Statistics conclude that only 2 times out of 10 do police officers correctly shoot their own targets so how are we to believe regular everyday civilians will be able to have any better success in case of an emergency situation? Not ONE armed citizen in this nation has ever been able to prevent a mass shooting in this nation ever in history while 7 CHILDREN and 30 adults are shot and killed everyday in this nation. This is an epidemic. The Second Amendment is an amendment, meant to be AMENDED as needed. Stop this genocide of Americans!
