ALL American families have the right to feel safe when going to a movie, church, school, restaurant, hair salon, store or mall, or even while on the subway, sitting at a stop light or working MUST take priority over owning weapons and ammunition designed to kill dozens in minutes.
We can no longer allow the NRA to dictate (or buy) policy that negatively impacts this country and safety for its citizens.
We can no longer allow gun owners to sell guns to anyone, in any situation, without a background check.
The manipulation of the second amendment by the NRA and gun advocates in a manner that refuses to look at basic, common sense has to stop.
No one needs an assault weapon, high capacity magazines or the ability to buy a gun without a background check. That's just plain common sense!
