Ban assault weapons, military grade weapons should remain in military hands.

Assault weapons are military grade weapons that civilians are now getting good there hands on. Sure mentally handicapped people may not be able to buy one, but they can sure as hell obtain one easily, by asking a friend to help him get one or someone else. And for those of you now saying "who would buy a mentally ill person a gun?" I would say I mean mentally ill as in messed up in the head, not Ill as In down syndrome. But point being these are military grade weapons and when civilians have them it just creates problems, such as an illegal black market for them, shooting crimes (for ex: sandy hook), and massive rampages by lunatics. And you might say, "what about home defense". You can do the same amount of damage 10x faster with a pistol so why need a military gun? Completely unnecessary
