Eventually, because of the rate at which we are presently burning through oil, cars will have to be banned sometime in the future. We should just get ahead of the game and start today. People would have to learn how to depend on public transportation. It would increase the jobs as many Americans can be employed to melt the metal from cars into bicycles, which would be allowed on the existing freeways. Pollution would be drastically cut down. We wouldn't have to depend on the Middle East as much for oil. It would help America in countless ways. Without cars, America would be a much cleaner, safer, and less polluted land!
