We, The People, petition the President of the United States to ban the manufacturing, importation, ownership, possession, and operation and use of all automobiles, and limit their use to police and military personnel only, because:
1. Automobiles are instruments of death and destruction
2. Automobiles are used by criminals to assist them in escaping and evading police
3. Limiting the use of automobiles to only police and the military will drastically reduce the number of auto-related fatalities each year.
4. Automobiles increase the United States dependence on foreign oil and are a national security risk
5. The average IQ of the U.S. population decreases each year, putting more unintelligent automobile drivers on the road, increasing the risk of more accidents and fatalities
