This petition is intended to be sarcastic to prove a point.
"Assault weapons" or any weapon is simply a tool regardless of what it is used for. A huge percentage of gun owners use these tools responsibly. Taking them away will solve nothing and save no one.
Crime has been steadily going down for a long time so if the ban passes they will claim it worked, though it will be unrelated. I don't feel this country needs a feel good law, America needs real sensible corrections.
How about starting with unbiased news reports, then dismantling the PARTIES in accordance with George Washington's farewell address, and maybe listen to the people who employed you, the American public. After that is said and done then I believe you, the Government, can finally uphold the Constitution.
