Too many people over the past 20-30 years have died or been injured on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving). Now stores are opening up on Thanksgiving to give consumers even more opportunity to fight over the deals on products. Let's end the senseless violence and prohibit stores from fueling the madness that is associated with Black Friday and the holiday shopping. No sale item is worth someone's life. This petition is not to shut down businesses or stop stores from being open on Thanksgiving or the day after. However, to prohibit stores from having the extreme sales and deals that causes the consumer craze. Please sign this petition if you agree that the madness needs to stop and no sale item is more important than a persons well being. Ban Black Friday sales and deals.
