Many innocent animals die in shelters because they are ignorantly discriminated against. If someone saves that pet, it is near impossible to find a rental place, and many families dump their pets in shelters like a used toy because they cannot take them to their new homes. Do research: 97% of the dogs involved in fatal dog attacks in 2006 were not spayed or neutered; 84% of the attacks involved owners who had abused or neglected their dogs, failed to contain or properly chain them; 78% of the dogs were not kept as pets but as guard, breeding, or yard dogs (The National Canine Research Council).
Every country, culture, religion has its bad apples, but it cannot and should not be generalized to everybody in that country, culture, or of that religion.
