While attending the British Film Awards in early 2016, British political activist Emma Thompson suggested the mass murder of members of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences because she felt there were too many white men involved in it.
In a disturbing racial tirade she suggested the proper course of action was to "kill them off" to remedy her dislike of the members of the academy.
We believe the citizens of the United States, including the AMPAS, have a right to be protected from foreign terrorism and threats of violence from foreign nationals whatever the political disposition and no matter the status of relations with the foreign country. Given this, we call for refusal of entry for Emma Thompson to the United States in all future attempts for her to gain entry to the US.
