The reason why the world is heating up is because people are still burning fossil fuels.
California is going through a mega-drought and if fossil fuels weren’t banned by 2016, the world will experience catastrophic changes to the environment. Other disastrous consequences will occur if fossil fuels weren't banned.
Some areas will experience a dramatic sea level rise, certain species will become extinct, ocean acidification is occurring, more dangerous events will happen, producing food will be harder, and more diseases will spread because of spreading carbon dioxide and destroying forests.
President Obama needs to warn the United States to lay off of fossil fuel and depend on renewable energy.The world's counting on you to stop burning fossil fuels and make it illegal before 2016.
