The Cancer-Research arm of the World Health Organization in March 2015 announced that glyphosate, world’s most widely used herbicide, is probably carcinogenic to humans. University of San Francisco tests found that 93 % of Americans have glyphosate in their urine and other tests found it in blood and breast milk. In one city, ALL urine tested positive for glyphosate, at between 5 and 20 times the upper limit for drinking water. Levels of glyphosate were found in soy at 19,500 times higher than the level that has estrogen-mimicking effects and causes growth of human breast cancer cells. Glyphosate accumulates over time in the body, it sinks into human organs and bone. It causes toxicity to soil, water, wild animals, bees, etc. It is way past time to ban it.
