Ban cell phone carriers from blocking features that are built in to devices and inhibiting progress for financial gai

Created by L.C. on January 17, 2013

Cell phone companies routinely lock down innovative cell phone features that are built in to devices (such as wireless tethering) so that they can charge you to use features built in to your phone, tablet or other device. This discourages progress and serves only to inflate corporate greed. It's time to end this practice. This practice happens in several different ways - Be it blocking apps from the market, from the phone all together, preventing you from installing apps that aren't from the market, charging you to tether (essentially charging you twice to use the same data), and many other ways. It has to stop.
