BAN THE CHARGES ON CARRY-ON ITEMS SIZES EQUAL OR LESS THAN 21″ x 18″ x 10″ ON ALL AIRLINES AND THE ADDITIONAL FEES

Created by F.E. on January 18, 2014

Airlines companies, especially Spirit Airline, has increasingly charges customers with ridiculous fees for all luggage, even the personal items. The normally small, fit-able under the seat size for personal items or even carry on is at least 18" in height including wheels and handle bar as the manufactures had built. But the Spirit Airline statement "A personal item may not exceed 16 inches by 14 inches by 12 inches. If it does you will be charged the appropriate carry-on fee." It's "appropriate fee" of $100 each way is absurd and quadruple the price of paying for a carry-on. Also, it deceived the customers by stating "If you arrive to the airport a couple hours before your flight, choose your seat...without having to pay any fees". It's purely SCAMMING.
