Child beauty pageants like the ones they show on "toddlers and tiaras" should be banned because they teach kids that looks are more important than education and other things. Studies show that these girls are more likely to develop eating disorders. In these pageants, some moms go as far as giving their children botox injections and when asked by police she said that its okay because "everyone" is doing it. These mothers put winning before their childs health in order of importance. Some people say pageants boost confidence but what about when you loose. When these girls loose they think they arent pretty enough and they take extreme measures to get that perfect look.
