"Babies are not Barbies", a fact everybody will agree to, except for the mothers of the 2.5 million Beauty Pageant Contestants.Beauty Pageants are unhealthy for children, and especially for toddlers. They teach the wrong values, treat children in extremely abusive manners and have no valid reason for existing. By the definition of child abuse, beauty pageant contestants are abused by their mothers and fathers. Do you believe it is right for a toddler to be exposed to the possibly damaging side-effects of spraytanning? Do you think a mother has the right to dress her toddler in stripper outfits along with fake breast, "flippers", or fake teeth, and an excessive amount of makeup? Do you believe it is right for parents to teach their three year olds to swivel their hips? Petition against it!
