A proposal to ban the smoking of cigarettes within the boundaries of national parks. Other units of the National Park Service and federal government would be excluded from this ban as those units receive less traffic.
The purpose of the ban is to reduce the amount of cigarette waste (cigarette butts) that accumulates with national parks.
