Civil Forfeiture is a method in which Law Enforcement can seize and claim any property without conviction or even charge of a crime. It gives Law Enforcement Carte Blanche to take money and property of American Citizens. This policy is a blatant and disrespectful violation of our Fourth Amendment Right, and only serves to deepen the mistrust of Authority and Law Enforcement in this nation.
