Ban Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs and bring back the Incandescent Light Bulb.

Created by C.R. on September 25, 2011

The change to Incandescent fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), was intended to save on electricity costs and limit pollution by replacing traditional incandescent light bulbs with energy-efficient (CFLs).
However, CFLs are more expensive, many contain mercury which can be harmful even in the smallest amounts. Mercury. is one of the most toxic substances on the planet and has been linked to a variety of serious health conditions. Many people will not recycle them much less dispose of them correctly. It will go directly in the trash to the landfill. This will create an even bigger and more toxic monster.than incandescent bulbs. Most of CFL'S are manufactured overseas in places like China! Factory workers are becoming very ill from the mercury. We do not want these bulbs in our homes.
