Ban competitive eating.

Created by J.M. on October 08, 2015

Competitive eating can not only be gross, but can damage your health. The risks of competitive eating include obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and severe stomach problems.

Competitive eating can even be life-threatening. Once, a man in Virginia had a stroke. The cause? He ate 38 eggs in 29 seconds. Also, three years ago, a man died shortly after winning a cockroach and worm eating contest—making a group of doctors to call a ban on eating contests.

Eating contests may seem like harmless fun, but they have a dark side—and some critics are saying its about time for then to be banned.
