Building a nuclear power plant is like raping Mother Earth. The crime of building a nuclear power plant comes close in its evil and stupidity to the crime of genocide. One nuclear meltdown could destroy an aquifer supplying water to several states for a half million years.
Earth is constantly deluged by free energy--tidal energy, solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy. Conversion to safe, clean energy could be accomplished in a decade and would create millions of jobs, plus stop us from inching towards nuclear war over oil.
