It is absurd that this country continues to grow corn at such an alarming rate. It is bad for the environment, makes High Fructose Corn Syrup much cheaper than healthier alternatives, and provides substandard nutrition for the animals that we end up consuming.
Hemp is a much more nutritious, practical, and environmentally friendly crop whose cultivation should be encouraged. Hemp's path to illegality is laughably corrupt and it should be embarassing to this country that the ban still holds.
Please legalize hemp cultivation and eliminate some of the incentives for growing corn.
