Several employers hire personnel based on their credit score and credit history. Due to the economy, many Americans have poor credit. Their credit history has no bearing in their job performance. This Petition is to prevent employers from doing a credit check on you before hiring you to work at their company. It does not mean the company can not perform a background check on you.
