Ban credit checks in the workplace as a way of economically discriminating against applicants & currently employed

Created by J.R. on January 26, 2013

Many law abiding citizens including our military personnel returning home are being denied employment due to divorce, illness, late bill pay, foreclosure, bankruptcy and repossession. The warped assumption that someone paid a bill late is irresponsible and unfit to be hired or promoted despite many years of qualified work history is economic discrimination. MILLIONS nation wide lost jobs due to company closure and layoffs causing bills to be paid late or forcing someone to loose their home which will appear on the credit report for 7-10 yrs. This makes a person UNEMPLOYABLE for this duration and is keeping our nation and it;s people from being able to support their families. This has been done to deny employees promotion as well despite having been a exemplary empl. for YEARS.
Stop it NOW!
