BAN THE DEATH PENALTY ACROSS THE BOARD

The Death Penalty is a human rights violation. It is barbaric. People can safely be punished without the need for the Death Penalty these days. There have been many cases where the actual identity of the person on Death Row has been mistaken, and many persons have been killed or imprisoned by accident or even through the fault of the justice system. Nowadays DNA testing has proven many cases were resulting in false imprisonment. Please, as Saint John Paul the Great has put it, there should be no need for the Death Penalty. Let the prisoners live out their sentences. We are not take away the life that God alone can judge. Let God decide the fate.
