The Detroit Lions are an embarrassment to themselves, to their fans, to the state of Michigan, and to anyone who has ever played or watched or is generally aware of the game of football.
Sending the Detroit Lions overseas is an insult to those who are forced to endure them. While trying to spread the sport of football, we send a team that is the athletic equivalent of a dumpster fire.
Nations that are forced to receive the Detroit Lions will take it as a slap in the face, at the very least. They may very well consider it an act of war.
When the President chooses ambassadors, he chooses people that will represent the United States with honor and integrity. I ask that the President require the NFL to do the same.
